Public Policy
The work load is intense. You may have been top of your class in college, but you won't be here. Do not come to this college just because your family wants you to go to a top ten school. You will end up really unhappy.

EPRINT
There are tons of computers available and there is no need to get a printer on campus. The only exception is during exam time; be prepared to have to wait in line to print your essay or find a printer out of reach that is not broken. A lot of computers start going down during exam time.

Triangle Excellence ... If You Have a Car
The triangle area has so many great food options, however you need a car to access most of them. I have tried biking around campus and it can be dangerous because drivers are not used to bikers down there. However, do not let it stop you from hiking it to chapel hill. There is amazing food down here.

Need a Car
If you want to survive at Duke, you need a car. The campus becomes a bubble, so you will need to get out every now and then.
