Well Rounded Education
Gonzaga is a Jesuit university. I have enjoyed every minute of my three years at this lovely institution. I really like how the curriculum is set up so that every student gets a well rounded education, regardless of their intended major. Each graduate emerges Gonzaga with a thorough understanding of their selected study as well as a general knowledge of other fields. The instructors at Gonzaga are professors, Jesuits, sisters, and lecturers. I think that the diversity of teachers adds to the diversity of education at this school.

Safe Haven in an Unsafe Neighborhood
My school's campus is a safe environment. However, the location that surrounds Gonzaga is less than perfect. The university is located near a high poverty and high crime neighborhood. Campus is also very close to downtown Spokane that has a high homeless population. I have never been personally touched by the dangers that are so close to my school, but I still feel the effects of the unsafe surrounding environment and take the necessary precautions to keep myself safe and sound.

Wanted: One Authentic Eggroll
Spokane is well equipped to serve its hungry college students. There are many reasonably priced happy hours and late night options close to campus. The only thing that I would like to see more of is a diversity of cuisine in town. Spokane is a very predominately white city. This lack of diversity is reflected in restaurant options where I can only find hamburger joint after greasy hamburger joint.
