The Spelman Life
Spelman College along with Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University make up a small community, also known as the Atlanta University Center. There are always activities for various interest on and off campus. We are all very small campuses that are very close knit. I love the atmosphere here because it is like a small family and everyone knows each other. Some of the events can seem kind of monotone at times but they are created for personality groups.

Diversify Me
This is a Historically Black College but we have people of all different backgrounds. On the outside students may only seem one race but they are Latino and Italian all mixed in one. Lots of people think there aren't any caucasian students but there are several students here who enjoy learning about the African American culture just as the next African American. We also have a large amount of international students who come from Japan, Asia, West Indies, France, etc.

More Assistance
Financial Aid is very helpful in some terms if you have done your part but if you fall short it is very hard getting the assistance that you need.
