Greeks Aren't Prevalent

Greek life does have events and hold parties, but they usually aren't a big deal. Most students don't enjoy being around the greek atmosphere here, however if they are a participant in any greek affairs then they seem to act superior to other students not involved. Some fraternities and sororities have sketchy reputations, but for the most part students steer clear of the greeks for fun and social occasions.

Police Hunt for Violations

The law enforcement here at ISU can really screw you over if your ever wind up getting caught even doing something remotely wrong. The police usually try and hunt for students who may possibly violate any of the school policies. Personally I would say that the strictness is over emphasized by police here at ISU, and sometimes winds up hurting more students than actually helping.
