Unique in Its Many Forms
UCSB library is pretty nice with 8 floors and on the 8th floor a model of the entire school. There is a big tower called storke tower that passes our 8 story library and used as a bell tower. Student center has a number of fast food shops and a lower level called the HUB. Our student resource building has culture resource center for different races. The recreation center is pretty nice with two gyms, racketball court, basketball court, tennis court, and a few pools.

Food Has Been Good to UCSB
Freebird the most well known is a mexican restaurant with a basic choices of tacos, burritos, and nachos. Cost about 5 to 6 dollars if you split it with friends since by themselves they are pretty big to finish. No discounts but business is booming open 24/7.

Actively Changing the Awareness
With a majority of students being white there a still a fair amount of diversity. This is coming from someone that lived in the multicultural house and the residential hall association had a week of awareness for diversity. There have also been some challenges but at a minimal level.

Letter and Science
As a biochemistry major the prerequisites are pretty fill with each quarter about 17 units to finish them in two years and still need the general education requirements its going to be a tough time to finish in 4 years. Facilities are mostly enthusiastic about there subject and some are better at communicating the material than others. Inters and opportunities are widely available being sent out through email relatively frequent.

Its Here Like Most Other Colleges
There are quite a few people that i know or heard of taking drugs but a large majority of it is basically just weed with a few stories of harder stuff but overall i say we're on par with other schools

The community of isla vista helps create a unique set of connections. For example a whole town of college students can interact and meet while partying where there is a sense of unity. Friends watch out for each other out there and friendships can be made while gather around for social fun.
