You Shouldn't Have a Problem
Unless it is midterm or finals season, you are most likely to have a computer at your disposal whenever you are in need. Northeastern's printer costs ($40) are built into every student's budget per semester and you can find the printers right inside the library next to a number of labs. But if you don't buy your own nor desire to brave the cold one night in the harsh winter, you can always ask to use one of someone in your hall. Perhaps the quality (on average) of the computers could use some improvement, as they are a little outdated, but they are nevertheless satisfactory and won't cause you many problems, if any.
I have never had a problem with NU's wireless network, whether I'm in a dorm, the library, on the move (using my phone), or wherever; the network adequately serves our entire and enormous campus. And although I don't know much about the intricacies of network speed, "NUwave," as it is called, seems equal to or faster than any other I've used, and certainly faster and more reliable than the one I have at home. Just make sure you don't do anything illegal on "NUwave guest," or you might get into some trouble...rumor has it that the FBI is watching since it is technically a public domain...or something like that.

Abundance of Choices
Being the size that it is, Boston contains a huge variety of cuisines and dining options. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least 20 different countries, a good amount of them within Asia, that are represented by nearby restaurants. Your NUID can give you a number of small but amounting discounts on on-campus restaurants and stores, so make note to utilize that little perk. The only downside is the relatively early closing hours; there are not very many late-night options...but I would recommend Tasty Burger.
As you hopefully have heard, Boston is very strict with underage drinking, so you will need a very good ID if you plan to foster it or go out to bars in the first years...this is a nasty surprise for all the students who come here and have only heard that "Boston is the ultimate college town." Corner Tavern seems to have a great reputation among everyone I know, so it should definitely be a bar to check out if you find yourself at Northeastern or just in Boston. The Hawthorne would be another one to add to your list. Everywhere is pretty easy to access given Boston's public transit, but take into account that the T closes at 12:30am, so it is easy to find yourself walking home and/or scrounging for a taxi late at night on weekends.

Winter Is Brutal
Expect a large amount of rain during your first months, as you should with any New England school. The cold can be nice when it yields snow, but there will no doubt be times when you come to envy your friends in southern and/or western schools. There will most likely be some days so cold you feel restricted to your dorm. Despite the large amount of snow that Boston can get, classes are rarely canceled, so don't anticipate any snow days but rather an occasional canceled class given the right timing.
