Get Ready to Walk
There are usually parties every wednesday - saturday. These are all off-campus in houses or at the river or other places you need to walk to. Bars and clubs are really nice in Portland if you are 21+ or have a fake, it is just expensive and difficult to get back to campus if you miss the free shuttle. The bus system downtown is soo easy to use, and Portland in general is very commuter-friendly. Just be prepared for a lot of walking. Of course, there is always drinking in dorms.

Depends Where You Live, but Overall Very Chill
Honestly, if you get caught drinking or smoking on campus you have to meet with your Area Director, but the consequences aren't very harsh. Campus police are very friendly and are just trying to do their job. If they smell something or if you are very loud they will check in on you, but as long as you are cooperative they are very chill. This is a very relaxed school.

Friendly, Happy, Beautiful People
Everyone here is ridiculously friendly and it is so easy to make friends. There is a strong sense of trust and community, and classes are just challenging enough. I definitely made the right choice in this school. The only drawback is the male-female ratio (unless you are a dude). Even so, I love LC.
