Athens, I Love You
Athens is definitely a college town! With the party scene and very hipster habitat in Downtown, the thousands of college students attend University of Georgia, and Bulldog-themed attractions all around Athens, you know from the second you walk in the city limits that you are at the best place on Earth.

Bipolar Weather
One minute, you are bunched in jackets and leg warmers, then suddenly you have to bring out the shorts and tank tops again. If you don't like the cold, then you will do just fine.

You Get What You Need
I did not have a problem getting financial aid, however you have to do a little digging. The people in charge did a good job of answering questions, but make sure you speak up. I was registered as an out-of-state student when I wasn't, so I had to do a lot of paperwork. If you just explain your situation, they are more than happy to assist you, like they did with me.
