Attempts at Diversity
Although there are numerous attempts to try and create awareness throughout the campus with various talk and discussions, most students are just not concerned with understand the minority (Boston College calls it the AHANA) community. Many of these individuals come from wealthy families around Massachusetts and Connecticut. I am not going to say all of these students that come from wealthy families aren't concerned with diversity and equality issues because that would be a gross generalization, but there are issues on this campus that many aren't aware of nor are they willing to learn about them. There has also been a lot of controversy in the past few years with the way the campus police treats the member of the AHANA community which is obviously a major issue. I am going to give Boston College a "C" because I think Boston College is trying to raise awareness to the rest of the community, but I believe they have yet to face the continuous problems the AHANA community is having with the police though. I think that is a major issue that has to be confronted.

Great Computers
I think Boston College does a really good job with having computers accessible for the Boston College community. There are many computers available in the library as well as the computer labs on access. I think printing should be available on both Lower and Upper Campus as well though, but I think there are a lot of printing stations available on middle campus.
The wireless could be a bit slow at times, but it is pretty reliable.

Community Service
Boston College provides you with the many opportunities. The one I will focus on is the Boston College really emphasizes the importance of being men and women for others. For that reason Boston College provides countless Community Service opportunities inside and outside the country. Personally I have been able to go to a service trip to New Orleans to provide Hurricane relief for Hurricane Katrina. It was an experience I will always remember. Even though it's been more than 5 years much of New Orleans is still in terrible condition, which was shocking to me. If many more people had this chance, they would be aware of the injustices that occur in this country.
