Computer Help and Availability
in the library we have tons of computers but they're often totally full. the secret is the bottom flor of the library in the computer service area. 1, they give you free help with any computer problem they can handle, and two they have tons of computers available to use while they fix yours, but you dont have to have a broken computer to use them. almost never full either.

Lots of Choices
there are lots of places to eat so it makes it convenient all over campus and the food is really good! especially pateaxant. however, there aren't lots of healthy options and the meal plan is really confusing. be sure to use your leftover meals by thursday night in the "grocery stores" or you lose them!

Very Big- Dont Get Swallowed up
i found a great small group in the beginning, but its hard to branch out and get involved sometimes. there are lots of options but limited opportunities to learn about them or join. sometimes its hard to feel like a part of the campus and not get swallowed up

Everything Is Close
things within walking distance:
a giant mall, tons of restaurants like the melting pot and cheesecake factory,a movie theater
Things that would be a horribly long walk or a very short drive:
target, t j max, marshalls, michaels, panera, chipotle, ect. LOTS MORE
about 15 minute drive:
the inner harbor of baltimore, the national aquarium, bet buy, barnes and noble, the hardrock cafe
This is a college area! Lots of colleges are very close by with just as much to offer as towson

Depends on the Season
i'm from jersey. In maryland we still have all 4 seasons, but the warm ones start sooner and last longer, so thats nice. EVERYTHING IS CRIPPLED WITH SNOW!! with no sidewalks or anywhere to put the snow, everything shuts down with small amounts of snow. but otherwise its good. and who doesnt love snow days? just hope you dont have to go to a job or school isnt cancelled for some reason

Greek Life Isnt Big
there are no frat houses or anything, although they usually live near each other and we do have greek life of all kinds, but mostly its philanthropic type stuff and not very big.

18 and up Bars Are Popular/ Smoke Free Campus
peer pressure? very little. everyone does what they want. policy is STRICT ON CAMPUS! there are plenty of places to drink off campus including lots of 18 and up nights so drink there, there are less restrictions. we are also smoke free and you can only smoke on the outskirts of campus.
