Good Wireless Network and Reliable Computers
Though with all technology there are occasional hiccups and seemingly stubborn machines, my overall experience with computers available for student use has been very pleasant and accessible. The WiFi system works great most of the time and I am never barred from internet use for long.

Lots of Housing Close by, Very Noisy
Housing the closest to town and campus is quite expensive and very loud considering the proximity to all the bars. However, there are some lovely housing options a bit farther off still in walking distance. Prices range farther away, but it is rather easy to find a reasonably priced nice sized apartment or house to live in once you move away from Court Street. Living on Court or one of the close by areas is much too expensive for not enough quality simply because it is closer.

I Don't Pay Much Attention to Sports
A lot of students seem to really love the athletics here, but I am not a follower of any sports. OU seems to be pretty fortunate in the sports department, and I do know that the Marching 110 is one of the main reason many students go to football games.

OU's Theater Department Is for the Students
Our theater program is excellent: we put on amazing large scale shows using the talents and skills of Undergraduates, Grad students, and professors. There is ample opportunity in every category of the theater to take part in the productions. The department heads do their best to give undergraduates projects to challenge them, commonly working alongside the graduate students. Students are encouraged to attend theater conferences where the newest advances in theater technology are presented and theaters across the country are interviewing potential employ. Our professors work with us the best they can to help us get where we want to go, writing letters of recommendation, putting in a good word with potential employers, and even at times inviting students to assist them on shows away from the school. With a few exceptions, the professors in the theater department are amazing wonderful people who really help their students get where they're going. The workload can be hefty at times, but the professors understand and are willing to work with people on adjusting deadlines etc. Our performances spaces are good representations of what we might be working in in the real world someday.we have a few small spaces which create unique challenges, and two larger spaces which are very different set ups and again create unique challenges. Our equipment varies in age, but this is something else representative of many theaters. There is a god array of top notch and pretty janky equipment to choose from

Mostly Good, a Bit of Sexual Assault.
For the most part, I feel safe on campus, especially in the building I frequent most. Its walking home at night that potential for danger rises. We get emails every time there is a crime reported by an Ohio University student describing the event and a description of the person who committed the crime. Every now and then we get emails about sexual imposition, and a couple of my gay friends have been attacked and beaten on the street by a group of drunk men. These are for the most part isolated events, but bad things can and do happen here. We do have a group of people you can call at night who will send someone to walk you home safely, which is a very nice thing to have.

Diversity
For both boys and girls we cover a wide gambit. We have Frat boys with their popped collars, sorority girls not wearing enough clothing in winter, Hippie kids who run around without shoes on and have a drum circle on college green every week, the juggling club with their unicycles, Indie kids with their vintage whatevers and thick rimmed glasses. We have a lot of international students, we have some women in burkas or with a head scarf. The Japanese students are always wearing high fashion, sometimes odd things. the girls wear painful looking high heeled boots to go to class sometimes, and both genders have a tendency to change their hair quite a bit. We have quite a bit of variety happening, sometimes good, sometimes not so good.
