No Time to Party for Serious Students
I'm completely focused on school. Most of my nights are spent at home sleeping so I can wake up the next morning attentive and ready to learn. As far as I know, most of the people at Cal Poly are commuter students so there isn't a lot of parties unless a student joins a sorority or fraternity.

Parking Availability Varies
I tend to park in the structure at my school which has 6 floors so there usually is a spot available on one of the floors. However, parking availability varies. U-hour, 12-1 pm on weekdays, is usually the busiest and a student may have to circle the parking lot a few times to find a spot.

Excelent Transportation Options
I drive to school from Covina to Pomona. I find it convenient that Cal Poly is next to 3 freeways; the 10,60, and 57. In addition, there are many buses that can be taken to and from Cal Poly. Also, there is multiple free shuttle buses that can be taken to get to different points around the school.
