I have been satisfied with my major so far. I am being taught Chinese by a native speaker, which is a lot easier than being taught by a non native speaker. Not only am I learning the Chinese language, but also the Chinese culture.

The public transportation is decent, but it is often unreliable. The bus schedules often do not match up with the other bus schedules and it is difficult to make transfers.

Snow
Recently, this winter it has snowed frequently and classes are cancelled as necessary. Hampshire College is part of a Five College Colloquium, so it is annoying when some of the five colleges close, while other don't.
