Food on Campus
There are three main places to eat on Brandeis Campus. The first is Sherman Dining hall which is an all you can eat outlet with both kosher and nonkosher options. The prices are high (around 10 dollars for dinner) but you are allowed to eat as much as you want and you can always rely on staples like french fries and burgers. The second place is Usdan. In Usdan there is the upper and lower sections. The upper section has more unhealthy options like burgers, burritos, pizza. The lower section however, has light asian food, vegan food, and a nice salad bar. The third place on campus is Einsteins bagels which is my favorite due to the small portions, the availability of coffee, and their fun pastries. Also on campus are many small outlets/cafes that are good for on the fun thins. Overall the food could definitely improve in its aim to be healthier and more varied.

Sports
Athletics is not a priority at Brandeis, however some students prefer this laid back perception of athletic competitions. Games are not very attended by the student population despite their above average advertising by the Student Activities. Gosman gym has recently been renovated and provides a good space for non athletes to workout and enjoy sports like fencing and squash.

Unique
You will not find another school like Brandeis where everybody is accepted. This acceptance is boosted by a blend of religious piety and high intelligence that both encourage welcoming all types of people. To be a nerd in this environment is an honor and it is fun to be with other people who are globally aware and proud of their eagerness to learn.
