Swimming pools at UCLA?

From when I've visited UCLA, I've seen that there's a pool on the hill up to the residence halls. Is anyone allowed to use it, or is it strictly for varsity athletes at UCLA? I've also heard something about a pool at a Sunset Recreation Center. Where is that located?

Yes, you can use the pool at Sunset Recreation Center, which is located on the hill (where the dorms are). And it is really beautiful and great area to kick back!

There are two pools at Sunset Rec center, both of which are open to students to swim laps in (usually the lower pool). The upper pool has lanes to swim laps in also, but it also has a diving pool and a shallow zone for people wanting to hang out and tan. Sunset Rec can be reached by the upper pool at the back of Hedrick Summit where you just have to swipe your bruin card, and the lower area through the sunset village residences which leads by all of the tennis courts up to the pool. Also there is another pool by Sunset Rec that is used for varsity water sports.

Sunset Rec Center is near Hendrick residence hall. I dont know about the pool on the hill, sorry.
