Comparative Literature Academia
The program is small and classes allow for discussion, a hidden gem in psu's huge campus. Workload is intensive and classes both in english and another language keep students jumping. Super rewarding but lots of hard work. CMLIT works well with another major and by virtue of completing the degree, one automatically earns minors in English and whatever language that one studies

Greek Life at Psu
is out of control and people get hurt. tho they do good things like thon, it's just become an excuse to get s***-wasted and destroy the town I grew up in. Non-greeks still party and sometimes those parties are wild too but in general, there is less pressure for women to act a certain way, to slut it up. The greek complex still radically divides the genders, and provides a perfect atmosphere for un-savvy women to get used, abused, degraded. Mostly the greeks will provide cheap beer and liquor, and the jungle juices contain anything, even raw chicken!!!. It's better to find apartment parties: cleaner, safer, and you don't have to worry about catching an STD from the toilets.

Parking at Psu
to commute to school it is $90/yr to park in the commuter lots. Freshmen living in the dorms aren't allowed to have cars on campus. Off campus parking can be as much as $300/month or more during the semester. you don't need a car for campus or in town but if you want to shop at more diverse stores, you need a car or have to use the bus system. The burrow makes much of its money on ticketing and fines. And if you park where you aren't supposed to downtown, you are sure to get towed by one of the 6 or so towing companies. If you get towed on the wkend, you're screwed.. about $300 or more to get your car outta the tow yard.
