What a City

It's impossible to find yourself at a loss for things to do in the city. San Francisco is extraordinarily diverse, not only in terms of people, but in terms of environment. Golden Gate Park is just down the street from school, and it's the perfect place to spend a sunny day napping on the grass or exploring the woods. I joke with my sister, who also lives in the city, about how easy it is to eat authentic Chinese food for breakfast, Indian for lunch, and Ethiopian for dinner, because the districts are close together and easily accessible by bus or on foot. Each day spent exploring the city is an adventure, whether it be the indie-hippie vibe of the historic Haight-Ashbury or the breathtaking views of the city from the top of Twin Peaks.
