Best of Both Worlds
Waltham is a great location for a college. It your average suburb with plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacies. Moody Street is great if you want to try an ethic restaurant. Waltham is home to a few bus lines and a train station, which provides easy access into Boston! So, it is really easy to get into the city if you want to escape the college town vibe for a few hours.

Fantastic Faculty
The faculty at Brandeis is amazing! All of my professors and TA's have provided exactly what I needed out of each of my classes. My TA's in my lab courses are really awesome grad students that are very knowledgeable of the subject and are easy to connect with. My professor in my art history class was so passionate about St. Peter's Basilica and Vatican art history that I now want to travel to Rome!

Easy as Pie
The process of getting into a major is relatively easy and the same for all majors. There is no special application process when applying to Brandeis and everyone comes in as "undeclared." By the end of sophomore year everyone has to have declared a major, although this can change up til the middle of senior year. To declare a major, you have to fill out a form and then meet with the department head; that's it.

The SCC Is My Home
Brandeis's main student center, Shapiro Campus Center (SCC), has everything you can possibly need. In fact, I have spent 24+ hours there on more than one occasion. The SCC is home to all of the club offices, a tv lounge, an atm, Einstein's Bagel, a quiet study room, the bookstore, a spacious atrium, and the undergraduate theater!
