My school is focused on getting a job and learning your trade. My teacher compared it to medical school because it is so specialized and competetive. The work load and constant rat race to climb the ladder makes it hard to fit socializing and down time in. With in classes like labs where we pattern draft and sew there is some socializing along with clubs formed to make connections. This school is mostly about making buisness connections not parties and and leisurally activities between friends which is good for staying on track with ones career

Fashion and the Industry – My school has a great career center that helps introduce you and place you with in the competative industry of fashion design. I went to this school for the networking and connections I would not find anywhere else.
