Academics at Northeastern University
Northeastern University offers a huge assortment of classes, whether its requirements for your major or classes you would like to take on the side, you can always find something fun to study. Depending on your major your work load will vary significantly, but through the years I have never had a teacher who I disliked, and they are always willing to help and are always around. The registration process can sometimes be tedious, but you can usually get into the majority of classes you would like to enroll in and if not you can always email the professor.

Dorms: the Good, the Bad, the Ugly
Living on campus at northeastern is really a breeze. For the most part, on campus housing is extremely nice, though may sometimes be a little small, but is all extremely close to campus. For freshman, they even have movers who unpack your car on the first day and help you bring all of your stuff into your dorm. As a freshman, living in International Village is probably the nicest, but you do not really get the "freshman feel" because it is located on the other side of campus. On campus housing can be expensive, but you have to remember you are in Boston, and living off campus is just as expensive as well. The lottery system after your freshman year is quiet annoying, and sometimes leaves you to not be living where you would like but no matter where you end up, even if its not with your friends, you know you'll be somewhere that is relatively nice.

Boston Is Cold.
Boston is freezing. During the winter it seems as if every one is hibernating. When spring finally comes around and we have one sunny day, it seems as though EVERYBODY is outside and the campus is really hopping and wonderful. But the winters are really cold and long. They are really good at snow removal, so there aren't many snow days, but you definitely need a very warm coat.
