Very Safe
Unless you're being stupid (ie going out alone at 2 am in a bad neighborhood off campus), you're totally safe. Brown Public Safety officers are super friendly, and there's the SafeWalk option at night (a fellow student will walk with you from Point A to B). I've never in any way felt unsafe on campus.

Attractive, If That's What You're Into
There are definitely some very attractive and stylish individuals at Brown, from a wide-ranging, diverse background of generally very open-minded people, so you're sure to find someone to your liking! It's hard to categorize the general aesthetic, but there are a lot of "hipsters". If you want a relationship, you can find one, but if you're looking to just hook up, you can find that, too.

Having a Car Is Inconvenient - Luckily You Can Walk Almost Everywhere
It's really tricky having a car in Providence, due to the parking bans, and renting a parking spot is expensive. However, there's rarely anywhere you'd need a car to go to, you have free use of RIPTA (Rhode Island public transportation) with your Brown ID, and you can always catch the commuter rail or a bus to Boston or New York.
