A Mix of Old and New
Old Dominion University is a combination of old buildings from the 1950's (which are in major need of repair) and brand new facilities (many of which are still under construction). Overall, it's a nice campus with alot to offer.

Good Mix
Downtown Norfolk is a rather mixed area-you can be driving through an awesome neighborhood and less than 1 minute later, you're in the ghetto. That said, Norfolk offers a pretty wide range of restaurants in regards to cost, convenience, food, atmosphere, etc.
