Boston Is the Best College Town in America
There's so much going on in Boston. From museums to concerts to theater to sporting events. How could you ever be bored? The hardest part about the local atmosphere was missing it like crazy when I went home to the suburbs.

If You Want Campus Sports to Be a Big Part of You Life, Go Elsewhere.
Almost no one at Emerson knows what sports we even have, let alone how our teams are doing. Sports is not a huge deal at Emerson. If you want sports glory, go somewhere else. Unless you love Quidditch.

There If You Want It, but Not a Big Deal If You Don't
A lot of people at Emerson smoke weed and drink, and of course, since it's an art school, there are a handful who go further than that. However, if you decide to live a drug and alcohol free life, there are definitely people for you. No one ever makes you feel like you have to do it to fit in. However, if you're going to drink/do drugs on campus, WATCH OUT. The punishment for getting caught is not a walk in the park. Just be careful.

There Are No Benefits to Having a Car.
The T can take you wherever you need to go in the city, and the price of parking it will probably cost as much as tuition.
