The Logan Neighborhood
Off campus housing is pretty easy to get whether it's through the school or not. Houses offered by the school are pretty nice and the school offers help with maintenance. Very safe and parking is pretty easy around the house. "The Logan" is sort of a nickname given to the houses around campus. There is a mix of student housing and Spokane resident housing so you wont be necessarily living next door to a student. The Logan gets very busy on the weekends.

Something for Everyone
Gonzaga is a damp campus meaning that some apartments allow alcohol in the buildings for 21+ residents. The weekends get a little wild. Students can be written up for underage alcohol consumption but it still happens as a big part of college life. That doesn't mean that that is the only option for the weekends. Student clubs offer outdoor adventures, trivia nights, bingo, etc.

Zags Not Drugs
In all the parties I have been too I have not experienced exposure to any drugs besides occasional marijuana. The school doesn't have a big drug scene and the students are educated on the dangers of date rape drugs, etc. Drugs aren't really present at GU.
