There has been a recent increase of assaults on and off campus. Usually the muggings happen late at night when the student is alone or with a group smaller than four people. Campus police have patrol shifts day and night to prevent more incidents. I feel safe for the most part except very late at night when I have to walk back to my dorm from the opposite side of campus, but luckily the college provides an escort service for students
