UC Academics Rock!
I am an Archaeology major in the McMicken College of Arts & Sciences at UC. The staff is really knowledgeable and willing to help you. All of the Anthropology Department professors are very distinguished members in their respective fields. There are so many opportunities for furthering your education outside of the typical classroom setting, such as archaeological field schools in Belize, Ohio Valley, Trinidad, Europe, etc., as well as many internship opportunities. The work is not always easy, but it is challenging and encourages me to do the best I can. I know this will help me be successful in whatever career choice I pursue after college. The University of Cincinnati is a fine university that prospective students would be crazy not to check out.

Beautiful Urban Campus
The University of Cincinnati has been selected as one of Forbes.com's most beautiful campuses in the world, and for good reason. UC was founded in 1819, so it is a very old educational establishment. While much of the campus is new, with buildings from famous architects like Frank Gehry, Peter Eisenman, and Michael Graves, UC has very carefully blended the old with the new. Classrooms are well equipped, the rec center is phenomenal, there are plenty of computer labs, several library facilities, a wonderful student center, and several food options.

Go Bearcats!
The athletic atmosphere at University of Cincinnati is great! UC has the amazing Nippert Stadium, Fifth Third Arena, Marge Schott Stadium, and many other fine athletic facilities. The Rec Center is great for athletes and students who want to stay in shape. There are a variety of intramural sports in which students can participate. UC students love their Cincinnati Bearcats athletes, as they proudly show by wearing red and black on Bearcat Fridays. The student turnout on game days is amazing. Go Bearcats!!
