Great Town
Blacksburg is a small town but has a lot to offer for almost any type of student. There are many activities off campus and in the surrounding area, including hikes and rivers to camp on.

Fantastic Tech School
For students attending Virginia Tech for any sort of STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related field, they will get a very solid education. It is less so for liberal arts areas, but just because it isn't know for those programs doesn't mean they still aren't great values.

Great Program
While I initially entered Virginia Tech as a Engineering major, I found it easy and pain free to switch to something that I found more interesting (pure Mathematics). Both paths were well explained and provided for.
