Horribly Expensive and Horrible!!!
Parking costs over $600/year for a parking permit. There are almost never spaces available. Motorcycle Parking is even worse! Although the permits are cheaper, motorcycles can only park in designated motorcycle parking. This is often filled and campus police are very diligent about giving tickets to motorcycles parked in non-designated parking.

Parking permits are very costly (more than $600 for the entire year). Permits are not available to freshman or sophomores. The places to park are also very limited and far away from classes.

Something for Everyone!
UCSC has a club for everyone. The social atmosphere is very accepting and inviting. There are many different types of people that go to school here and not very many cliques. Many informal sport teams exist as well.
