Grinnell College Facilities was reviewed by Ezk1993

The Campus facilities at Grinnell great, all the buildings are impeccable. The nicest buildings on campus include the JRC, Noyce, and the Bear. All of these buildings are pretty new, greatly upkept and modern architecture.

Grinnell College Overall Experience was reviewed by Ezk1993

A Dream Come True – Grinnell is my home. As cheesy as that seems, it's the truth. For the first time I feel as though I really belong somewhere, that I fit in. That is what Grinnell is all about, everyone fits in, everyone is friendly and inclusive. It is super easy to find your social group, whatever that may be. I first visited Grinnell believing that I would hate it, I mean it's in Iowa. Soon I realized though, that I love Grinnell and even Iowa has begun to grow on me :).

Grinnell College Campus Strictness was reviewed by Ezk1993

Self-Gov Is Love – Grinnell uses Self-Governance as its main "rules." This means that the administration gives very few rules, in fact the biggest rules are do not touch the train (which goes right through campus) and academic honesty. This can often lead to the assumption that Grinnell has no order/no rules. This though is somewhat accurate, but at the same time through Self-Gov, Grinnellians live to keep themselves and others safe.

Grinnell College Academics was reviewed by Ezk1993

It's a Self Afflicted Wound – It is offten said that Grinnellians work very hard and this is true, but this wound is self inflicted. Almost every Grinnellian is looking for challenging academics that relate to their interests. Using the open curriculum this is easy, you only have to take the classes you want to. This is a responsibility that Grinnellians are always up to, creating a challenging schedule that reflects their interests.

Grinnell College Nightlife was reviewed by Ezk1993

Oh Harris – Nightlife at Grinnell leaves a lot to be desired. There is not always something "major" going on. Now with that said Grinnellians are very creative so it is not hard to find something to do. The best and worst activity every Saturday is Harris, this is a dance party open to all students. The themes change every week and there is usual beer but Harris gets boring very fast. With good friends and a little creativity it is not hard to have a great weekend

Grinnell College Off-Campus Dining was reviewed by Ezk1993

Not Great, Not Bad – The town of Grinnell has seen better days but it offers a nice range of dining options, from the Peppertree to La Cabana. Most places are good and all are fairly priced

Grinnell College Health & Safety was reviewed by Ezk1993

So Safe – Grinnell is the safest campus I have ever heard of. Due to its location and Self-Governance Grinnellians feel extremely safe. Students leave their backpacks everywhere, their rooms unlocked, and bikes unhooked. The crime rate at this campus is nonexistant.

Grinnell College Campus Housing was reviewed by Ezk1993
A

To Each His Own – There are three "campuses" (dorm clusters) at Grinnell, East, South, and North. Each campus offers a different scene and different attributes. Although many of the campus stigmas are not always accurate. All housing is perfectly fine and the FMs (Facilities Managment) do a great job keeping the halls clean.

The D-Hall – There are only two options for food on campus, the D-Hall and the Grill. Both are really good and ofer a wide variety of options. The only downside is after about 6 weeks the D-hall gets repetative, but at least the repetative food tastes good!

Grinnell College Computers was reviewed by Ezk1993

There are many computer labs throughout campus, all the computers run either Mac OSX or Windows 7, depending on the user's preference. Printing black and white is free and unlimited while color costs $.30 per page. The college uses a pretty cool system to print. A software app is downloaded onto your computer and then you are able to print from your computer and pick up at any printer on campus using your P-Card (Pioneer ID)
