Campus Events
I find the campus events pretty amazing. A new movie every Friday night for only $2. Comedians, bands, and performers are booked all the time for us to enjoy and they are usually free. For a couple of bucks towards a club or good cause there are late night dances and club events. So if you're underage or not a party goer like me then you don't have to worry about being stuck in the dorms with the amount of things to do for free.

Not Strict Enough
Lately it seems that drinking has gotten out of hand, especially with the freshmen. I can't believe the number of students who are passed out and yet are still aloud to go to classes on Monday. Maybe the fines should be higher for being caught with alcohol while under age. I'm not so much against drinking but these kids need to learn responsibility.

I Love It Here
If I had the money I would even stay for the summers at Alfred. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. My friends are there, my art is there, and I don't have to make my own food. I have enjoyed all of my professor and classes. It just feels like home.

Ade Vs Powell
So there are two dining halls on campus and everyone claims one is better then the other but whatever. I prefer Powell because it has breakfast in the morning but its not open on the weekends which sucks. If you're a vegetarian or like to eat on the healthier side then this is a good place for you. Its not the best food in the world but I miss sitting and talking to friends for hours over pizza.

People
All of the people at Alfred are friendly so you won't have a hard time chatting anybody up. There are a ton of different styles because of all the majors afford. Classy looking business majors, tired looking engineers, and grungy art students.

Nowhere
Alfred is in the middle of nowhere. If you want to go to Walmart everyday bring your own car. Or ride the bus which only goes to Hornell and seems to be inconveniently placed during all of my classes. Its a good thing I don't want to go any place.
