Could Be Better!
You can usually find an open computer, so long as it's not common hour or finals week. But if it's either of those two, then chances are you're out of luck. Then again, if you do find a computer, it will most likely run so slowly that you won't be able to finish anything before your next class. However, Slippery Rock University does offer many different computer lab locations, so if one is too full then nine times out of ten you'll be able to find another one that's open...even if that means walking across campus. Over all, the computer situation isn't the worst, but it could be improved!

Thank Goodness It's No Longer a Dry Town...
Slippery Rock as a township is absolutely dead. There couldn't be less things to do here. On that note, there's a good bit of partying. There's one restaurant that turns into a club at night, but other than that house parties are your best bet. Also, the town is small enough that when the weather is decent everyone just walks everywhere.
