A lot of students like to go to the games to support the teams, even if the team isn't theirs. Hollins has a lot of alliances in the surrounding schools and will sometimes provide shuttle buses or carpools to also go to those games.

General Roanoke
Roanoke has a lot of great cafes, restaurants, and bars to check out with friends, but if you don't have a car, the shuttle buses only run on certain days.
