You will see people of all kinds. Straight up chill bros, trendy metrosexuals, quiet brilliant gays, and super flamboyant gays. NYU has it all and you will meet all of them in a quick period of time. Everyone is accepted here. We happily accept you for who you are.

Drugs and Alcohol
You can probably find any kind of drug you want on this campus. Cigarettes are big. Weed is big. Crack, molly, etc....you will find it eventually. Alcohol can be smuggled in a backpack. Some guards are chill, but some are really strict and can be complete ass****s when you're doing nothing wrong. Tons of dorm parties get busted too.

It's Cold
In the winter it is brutally cold. Lately, it has been surprisingly mild though. Weather is not as much of a concern as it is in Syracuse.
