Pitt
There are always plenty of events happening in PIttsburgh from plays to sports games to museums. I can always find something fun to do on the weekend. Pitt has a great Pitt Arts program that is always bringing the students at Pitt a great opportunity to experience the cultural events of Pittsburgh. I always feel safe and welcome at the University of PIttsburgh's campus. The students are friendly (for the most part) and so is most the faculty. Pitt has made my college experience great.

Transportation Is Easy
The University of Pittsburgh uses activities' fees to give every student a bus pass. This is extremely useful. They also provide buses and shuttles for a lot of cultural events and sports games. On breaks, there are shuttles to take you from Pitt to a major city around your hometown and then back. Pitt is very accommodating to its students' travel needs.

Weather Is Normally Dismal
There are not many days of sunshine here in Pittsburgh which can make for very long, dreary winters. These long periods of bad weather can sometimes take a toll on a student. However, the consistency of poor weather makes everyone much more grateful for good weather.
