Apartments Are Pretty Reasonable
There are many apartment complexs near to the campus. Many are very reasonably priced and comuting to the school from most of them is simple. The only thing that comes as an inconvenience is the parking... it can be a hassle to find a good parking spot.

On-Campus Activities Are Great!
There is always something going on that is available to all students attending the U. They are fun activities put together by students and it's usually a great atmosphere. If you're into the partying scene there are plenty of house parties near campus as well as a multitude of 18+ and 21+ clubs available downtown. There's always some form of fun going on!

Take a Shuttle...
I drive to campus and it is a pain. the parking permits are very pricey and the lots are not as close to classes as I would like. The great thing about salt lake though is TRAX. it's easy to take a train right up to campus and it's completely free with your student id! They also have a free shuttle system that takes you virtually anywhere on campus.
