So Much to Do
There are lots of good restaurants near to campus. If you have a car, it's easy to get around and find good shopping places. Sports are big here. There's much more activity directly related to Duke (i.e. put on by Duke students) than anything done by Durham.

Buses
The campus is split into three campuses: West, East, and Central. Buses go between them. The buses are good, except right between classes when hundreds of people crowd to get on. A few people have bikes. Cars are useful, but very few freshmen have/need them. There are some other buses that go into the city, and to Chapel Hill.

Basketball!
We have strong sports program, but also one of the highest rates of athletes actually graduating.
