New Housing Model
Duke is constantly changing how they handle housing, and that can be fairly annoying when trying to decide where you want to live on campus. Everyone hates Central because they feel it is dingy and inconvenient, but overall it's not as bad as people make it seem. The ideal place to live is west because of it's relation to classes, but all freshmen live on east, which tends to be a great experience.

NO RULES!!!!
Duke only worries about plagiarism and cheating. Unless you're doing something explicitly dangerous or a more violent crime, you will often get a slap on the wrist if you're caught at all. People often brag about drinking out of solo cups in front of police officers, and as long as you are with friends and not passed out or acting belligerent, you will be ok. Drugs are less tolerated, but once again that's if you get caught. People often stash liquor in their fridges, even on east campus which is supposedly "Dry".

The Blue Zone Is Stupid
East and central campus have great parking, but living on west (which is most convenient) also comes with the worst parking. On game days people have to move their cars and finding a good spot in the first lot is almost impossible.
