Good Restaurants, Lack of Fast Food
Iowa City has a nice mix of restaurants, and several ethnic cuisine restaurants, like the Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant. There is, sadly, a lack of fast food restaurants downtown. It would be nice if there were a few more, since it does get expensive eating in IC restaurants.

Kinda Getting Worse
The nightlife in IC is pretty exciting and fun, but they've recently implemented a 21-only ordinance which probably will make the clubs really uninteresting. House parties in IC on the other hand are excellent...I can't say I've ever been to a crappy one.
