Diversity of Duquesne University
Duquesne is primarily a school made up Caucasions The next highest race would probably be Asian, and then African-American. Duquesne does however reach out and a good percentage of students are international. I would say that maybe half are Catholic and the rest are either some form of Protestant or no religious affiliation at all. 55-60% female and 40-45% male.

Duquesne's Strictness
The RAs on the floors are very strict about certain things. If you have someone visiting, you have to turn in your Student ID to the front desk and the visitor must stay with you at all times. The police force looks out for any suspicious activity or underage drinking. I have witnessed a pot bust on my floor and know of kids who drink in their room, but haven't been caught yet. If you want to drink, most will go off campus to places around the city.

Duquesne's Financial Aid
If you are an excellent student in high school, you should have no problem in getting a decent scholarship from Duquesne. The financial aid office will give you updates on any scholarship money that you are turning in and makes sure you are on top of things. If you are an average student in high school though, it would be pretty tough to get any form of financial aid (with the exception of loans). In that case, school will be very expensive.
