Friendly Ohio University
Ohio University is often known as the friendliest campus in Ohio. Maybe this is because of the drinking, but either way OU consists of extremely outgoing people. Even the townies will stop to talk for a few minutes. The residence halls vary in quality, but all are livable. In fact, most people meet their close friends there, or through organizations on campus. The cost is not so great out of state or in state, and it is not going down any time soon. The campus might seem big, but the longest walk is probably 10 to 15 minutes, which is nothing once you get use to it. Even though it's a small town you should be able to find anything you need.

White, Straight, Republican
Most people like to think that there is diversity when it comes to background and political belief at Ohio University, but in reality there is very little diversity. Most of the people here are straight, white, Republicans who come from the suburbs or farms of Cleveland, Columbus, or Cincinnati. However, this does not mean that students are not accepting. Anyone could feel comfortable here if they make an effort to break out and meet people.

The Beautiful Campus
During my experience here there have been very few moments that I have felt like OU wasn't the place for me. As soon as I set foot on this campus I knew it was the right place. The old style campus is absolutely beautiful, and the people often match it. People here are amazing, because they are all going through the same experience as you, so they're willing to help you in any way they can. The whole town basically thrives off the campus.
