Big City With Poor Transportation
Atlanta is a great city that offers a good variety of restaurants, shopping and partying, but unless you have a car trying to navigate it will be tough. MARTA is expensive and unreliable, and the parking fee for Emory is very expensive.

Sports Are Nonexistant
Emory's sports culture is very weak. We're not Division I, and we have no football team, so not very many students ever go to athletic events.

Love It or Hate It
Those who aren't in the Greek system tend to dislike it, as it's a self-contained community that parties with those in it. Those in the system are sometimes obsessed with it, and are disconnected from the other 2/3 of Emory students. Frat parties are terrible if you don't have many friends in the frat.

Good Technology, Wireless Can Be Slow on Clairmont
The computers are all pretty much Macs, and you can find any program/technology in certain labs. Printing is a bit pricey; wireless can be slow on Clairmont Campus

Easy to Get Away With Drinking/Drugs
I've rarely heard of students getting arrested for drinking/drug-use, and the school has medical amnesty.
