RIT Is Truely the Best
I went to RIT for Mechanical engineering and am now am in industrial design. RIT has an amazing programs. No matter your program you are working. The classes are absolutely amazing. The curriculum doesnt seem pointless. It gives you the best of everything so when you leave you can really go out and do anything. The professors are so amazing. They dont have TA's teach and really know what they are doing. Most of them have years in industry which is really cool and students respect them because of this. The quarter system is awesome too bad we are losing it. I like how you have 10 weeks of intensity and feel like you are learning and getting stuff done. The workload isn't that bad, you find your comfort and are good. I like how the classes aren't to big, about 50 people in Engineering and 12 in Industrial Design. The best thing is the cooperative education. I wish Industrial design required a coop. But you get to go into the work field and get hands on experience as an equal. It is really great. I love the academics at RIT. They are what they say they are.

The City of Brick
RIT is a clean campus. The buildings make clean lines, and there is no trash laying around, and the gardens are full and lush. They do a great job at making RIT beautiful. There are so many eateries and centers on campus. There is something for everyone. They have music artists come at least 3 times a year. They have carnivals and really cater to the students. The athletic center is amazing they have 10 courts, 2 indoor tracks, 2 pools, a great weight room, spinning rooms, dance rooms, you really can go and find something for you. Then they have wellness courses that are awesome and you can really explore athletics. RIT has tons of resources the Student Alumni Union is great. It has 5 places to eat in it as well as music rooms and places to study, Student Government and many other organizations. The library is huge and had everything you need. It is a great quite place to study and you can get study rooms. Then there are tons of art galleries, and student work is always showing. Then there are huge computer labs you can go to and hang out in. Then there is Global Village which has really good food and shops and a printing hub it really is a great place to sit outside and enjoy the day. They make an outside ice skating rink and have a fire it is really cool. Then you have the toilet bowl- the Innovation Center. You can go here with any idea and make it come to life it is a place that there is always a project and someone working. RIT facilities are really awesome.

The Most Amazing Years of My Life
RIT is so amazing. I love it so much. You can find anything you want to do and if you cant you can start a club. I knew who I was in High School but redefined myself to be who I wanted to be at RIT. I have great friends in Pep Band. I am part of Tango Club and participate in campus wide activities. You find the happy medium with your free time, between studying and friends. Our Hockey Team went to the Frozen four and it was a favorite time for me, I play in the pep band so got that and the campus was all aglorange (aglow in orange). There are so many amazing people. I would definitely choose my school again. It is an amazing and diverse place where you can be and explore exactly what you want.

Mechanical Engineering to Industrial Design
Mechanical Engineering at RIT is awesome, just not what I was into. The professors all have years in the industry and most are Dr. They give you experience in 3D modeling, machine work and theory. You get a look at everything and anything. The program has one of the best departments anywhere. It also requires 5 quarters of cooperative education. And there are so many places to coop and you get to find it and apply and do what you want. It is great.
Industrial Design is great. You get your hands on the artsy side first and then dive into work that will put you ahead in the industry. It is an awesome hands on program. It is a smaller program on campus so everyone knows each other which makes it feel like home.

RIT Can Party
RIT is in a urban area so there are tons of places you can go out to eat or drink. There are parties but they aren't huge they are done by friends and kept among friends only. The parties I have been to are all people I know. Because of this there is an underage nightlife because you have upperclassmen friends. Transportation is easy because there is night buses. There are also events going on at school, clubs and music and performances so if you are underage you can find something to do.

RIT Transportation
There are buses that go everywhere in Rochester and come straight to the dorms and apartments on campus. The Bus is free on campus and 2 dollars to go into town. It is really convenient and easy to get around. And if you have a bike you can get anywhere you want because everything is right there. And there are also buses to the train station and airport, so long distance transportation is easy that way.

Technology
Everything is so up to par. RIT has the newest programs and great computers. There are labs everywhere and they are open all the time. The wireless is super fast and everywhere on campus. There are printers in every lab and you get to print so many pages a quarter. The computers are completely legit.

Living
The dorms are really nice. NRH is where it is at. The heat is good and the dorms with AC rock. The apartments are awesome. You get a kitchen. UC is the nicest and Riverknoll needs to be gotten rid of. They are all affordable and you pay for what you get. Housing is a really easy process. There are buses from all living areas to academics. I love living on campus everything is walking distance.

There is a lot of diversity on campus. We have a huge deaf population. And being so urban there are people from all walks of life. There is also a large number of foreign students. Everyone is different and it is easy by looking at the diversity on campus. Because of its diversity acceptance comes easy because everyone understands.
