Off-Campus Housing
There are a lot of great places that are basically in the heart of campus. The only downside is that the housing rush for next year starts early--about early November. But everyone finds one, no problem. Costs vary depending on how close you are to campus, but there's one out there for every person's budget. Sharing rooms lowers the costs at most places! However, look at everything you have to pay for because it may seem like cheap rent, but add all the utilities and it may be cheaper to live in the dorms.

Diversified
Madison is probably one of the most diverse schools one could ever go to! There are so many people, locations, restaurants, activities, clubs, and more that are diverse in every way possible! Race, ethnicity, gender, religion, politics, interests, hobbies, majors, activities--you name it, it's here!

Nightlife Is Never Boring
Nightlife is for students who are 21 or older. There are a few 18-and-older clubs, but I say skip the clubs. House parties are free, the music is better, and you don’t have to pay for a cab back to campus.
