Labs, Gym, Libraries, Etc.
First off let me say that the facilities here are top notch. The RSF (Gym) has a great variety, so there is something always to do, no matter how many people are there. The computer labs and libraries usually have lots of space and it is a wonderful place to study. The only time it becomes a bit difficult is during finals week, but even then, it only takes a bit of persistence to find a spot.

Diversity and Acceptance of That Diversity on Campus
Cal has to be one of the most diverse campuses on the nation. As a result, Cal is very open to anyone, no matter of what religion, nationality, race, etc. On the other hand, while there is a lot of diversity, the logistics behind that diversity are a bit tilted toward a single ethnicity, Asian. So while there may be people from all over the world, there is definitely a majority here at Cal.

Cal Football Team
To be blunt, the Cal Football Team has been doing pretty bad for the past few years. On the other hand, I give it a high grade, because even though our football team is doing bad, there is still ton of pride flowing throughout the campus a night before football games. And this is especially true during the Big Game Week, which is a prep rally week to pump up the students for the Big Game, Cal v. our rival, Stanford. The pride is great and people really do get involved and overall it's a great time to be at Cal.
