The Arts
If you're a fan of the arts, Pittsburgh is the place to be. There are tons of museums, a highly ranked symphony, and theaters all over, not to mention a growing film industry. This is where Hollywood now comes to make films.

Disastrous
Buy a parking pass as a last resort. They are outrageously expensive, and you still aren't guaranteed a spot. Surface parking is a joke. There are barely any spots with all the construction they have recently done and there is no limit to how many permits they sell. Unless you have an 8am class there is no way you'll find a spot. Even the parking lot passes have gotten ridiculous. They started over selling those too. You have to "valet" your car but even then you can drive around for over half an hour and still not find a spot. If you have a late start, don't waste your time or money.
