Spokompton
The infamous Spokompton. Great school in a not so great Northwest industrial city. Campus is really safe and undisturbed, but locals in the Logan neighborhood can be dangerous. Only a few incidents a year though, all off campus. Locals LOVE the Zags and support them 100%. Not much to do off campus unless you go downtown for dinner, movies, etc. There is a nice and easy walking path to get downtown too.

Safe Campus
Campus is VERY safe. Theft is slightly present, but minimal. Bluelight system is nice to have. Campus security make regular rounds around campus at night. On-campus incidents involving personal saftey are very rare. The only incidents occur outside of campus at night. Just be safe and smart when out in the Logan neighborhood at night, never walk alone.

Ehhh
Drug culture is present but hidden, you have to find it. If there are drugs, its almost always weed. Not too many stoners, most kids aren't about that. If you smoke, DO NOT buy Spokane weed, bring your own home brand. Almost everyone drinks, but thats totally normal for college. RA's are strict about drinking in dorms.
