Super high activity fees, no teams to speak of. Almost no allowed times that students may swim in the pool their fees pay for.

Worst Grad School Welcome Anywhere

My friends got into grad schools across the country. Everywhere else had department meetings where you got introduced, people were friendly, they got to meet other grad students. RPI lied about how much the salary was and how high the fees were. Being a TA here is a miserable, impoverished, isolating experience. No one is friendly. It's like it would kill the departments to have a mixer. Grad students, go anywhere but here.
