Convenient and Available, but Can Be Expensive

Houses surrounding campus are generally rented by Tufts students. This includes houses directly across the street from campus (which are pretty much on campus). There are many options available for off campus housing. It can be expensive, however, depending on how close you want to live to campus.

No Need for a Car

While there is a fair amount of parking available on campus, so many students have cars that it makes parking difficult at times. Having a car is not really necessary though as Tufts is located near the T subway system (red line in Davis Square) on the city busy route.
