Hunter Strives for the Best
Currently I am doing a BS in Psychology, then hopefully furthering my education into the medical field. The workload at hunter college is fair. It honestly depends on the class. Many of the instructors are good but the course material can be a bit overwhelming especially from the science courses. The science departments really strive for the best with their students but if you can succeed in those classes you will leave with a lot of knowledge. However the courses in psychology are extremely good. I have enjoyed all of the psych courses I have taken mainly due to the professors who love to teach and make it fun and interesting.

Hunter Provides Sports
Yes Hunter provides a number of athletic sports as well as exercising activities. Personally I am not into athletics but while I was taking courses in the summer at Hunter College my friend and myself did play racket ball and did a session of core-aerobics (pretty intense that one). We did enjoy ourselves. Does Hunter College have a gym? Yes but I often hear that its always crowded, which is not surprising because hunter has ALOT of students. As for the sports team I have never been to a game but I heard its a good way to meet people. Other than that there are alot more sporting activities such as swimming, basketball, tennis, volleyball, etc.

Hunter College Very Diverse
Hunter college is a diverse community in the center of the BIG APPLE, NYC so nope there is no campus just the front of the building where you find fellow students chilling and smoking. However it is one of the top CUNY schools and is extremely competitive when it comes to the sciences. Although Hunter College gives many of its students great opportunities I do not like the student to teacher ratio especially when it comes to science courses (possibility of a 500+:1 ratio). Some students may not be phased by this but I prefer a much smaller ratio. Getting through the school hallways is a major hassle especially when your trying to get to class. But I do like my program (psychology), and the faculty in this department are extremely nice and helpful.
