P Safe
I felt completely safe during my time at Chapman and of course felt safer the more time I spent on campus. The only thing is the distance between Dodge and the Dance and Theatre Tech Buildings and main campus is residential and a bit expansive, but Public Safety is constantly patrolling that gap so it never felt like an unsafe walk.

Available If You Want, Invisible If You Dont
Unfortunately drugs are a part of every college scene whether it's public knowledge or not. At Chapman never once did I feel any sort of pressure whatsoever so participate in drug use if I ever (rarely) ran into it, but I definitely knew it happened. 20-something year olds in Orange County are going to find and try drugs in college... it's just life. Parties have alcohol, it's very available and it's kind of everywhere. But there are also a lot of people at Chapman that arent as into the parties and drinking but still get along fine with those that do. It's a pretty laid back social scene. Parties and alcohol and drugs are there, but you don't feel a need to join in with everyone to feel accepted by any means.

AMAZING
Weather at Chapman is absolutely glorious. It's in Southern California, so it's gorgeous most of the year and the few weeks or rain are usually during christmas break and interterm.
